How long is my UPS QVD Data Stored in Intelligent Logistics?
Intelligent Logistics will store data for a minimum of 3 years for active customers. However, once a customer cancels their subscription, the data will be purged immediately.
How long does UPS store my QVD data?
UPS will store QVD data for 120 days.
How long do I have to send Manifest Data to UPS?
QVD is dependent on timely manifest data to provide accurate visibility milestones to customers. If a shipment is tendered to UPS prior to manifest, QVD has a 5 day replay process waiting for manifest. If received within the 5 days, QVD will provide all events up to that point. If nothing is received within the 5 day time frame, any stored events get dropped.
Why am I not seeing tracking updates on previously manifested labels?
QVD has a 45 day pre-transit/manifest retention period. This means that if there is a label created but was not scanned into the UPS network within 45 days, QVD will not send updates to Intelligent Logistics. You will see a record of the package in Intelligent Logistics if the pre-transit/manifest label data was sent to UPS, however no updates will occur to that record.
