Controllable Charges, generally speaking, refers to a charge that is potentially avoidable by the respective business or entity. Navigating in Intelligent Logistics, there are several approaches one may take to view their company's controllable charges.
- Go into Invoice Charge Summary.
- Add the Charge Classification filter from the Adapt Filters button. Upon clicking OK, the filter will have been added to the preset row above the table. From the filter's dropdown menu, select Controllable/Wasteful Charge.
Adjust the Invoice Date filter to Last Week (optional).
**Note: You may also use the Secondary Charge Type filter, click into the Charge Classification box at the top, and select Controllable/Wasteful Charge from the dropdown menu. Click OK at hte top and then select GO.
Both options will lead you to the same result.

Additionally, you may also toggle over to Pivot View, where you can break down your filtered view by specific dimensions.
3. For example, enter the following dimensions: Billed Account, Primary Charge Type, and Secondary Charge Type, as shown below:
In this instance, upon entering the dimensions and clicking GO, you are presented with teh relevant data along with its associated volume and overall net charge.
