Accessorial Charges refer to charges associated with transportation charges. Generally, they are billed by carrier and freight entities, and such charges may include (but are not limited to) unpacking, detentions, layovers, liftgate, etc.
This article will walk through how to filter by Accessorials in the tenant, and highlight how to break out the data by a specific tracking or invoice number.
1. Go into Invoice Charge Summary. Toggle over to Table View.
Applying Filters
2. In Adapt Filters, scroll down the list and select the Charge Classification filter. Press OK, and you will now see the filter added to the preset row above the table.
----
3. Click into the Charge Classification filter, and select "Opt in Accessorial Charge."
Press the GO button to refresh the data.
Customizing the Table View
Now that the filter is applied, it's time to customize the table, so you are given a relevant view of your data.
4. Click on the gears icon above the table. In the pop-up menu, you are able to add/remove columns by checking and unchecking the selections. Additionally, you may rearrange the order of which the columns appear, simply by dragging and dropping at your discretion. The topmost option will appear in the foremost column, and so on.
**Note: Since we have applied the Charge Classification filter to view Accessorials, it is recommended to also include the Charge Classification option in the table.
After modifying and clicking OK, you will be presented with the updated view of your data. If you would like to filter by specific invoice or tracking numbers, simply enter them into the filters and press the GO button. You are able to copy and paste the numbers directly into the filter box.
