Summary
The Secondary Charge Distribution application is a new application as of the July 10th, 2021 release.
This chart list application shows users their monthly charges aggregated by the Secondary Charge Type. Included in the application are breakdowns of the charges by incentives and weight data.
Working with the data
Users have the ability to to adapt their filters for their search and use the settings icon to customize their table columns. The Charge Classification filter allows users to narrow the data by different charge groupings:
In the example below, the data is filtered by charges classified as Controllable/Wasteful - highlighting where the organization can potentially reduce costs through adjustments to their operating procedures.
As of the November 11, 2023 release, this application now includes direct links to the underlying charge data. By clicking on any of the secondary charges listed, the user will be directed to a different application that will instantly provide a granular view of each individual charge:
Table View
The Secondary Charge Distribution application has the ability for users to horizontally scroll through their table, as well as freeze and resize columns. Freezing columns will allow users to scroll through the table while keeping their selected column locked on the screen.
To freeze or unfreeze a column, click on your selected column and select from the drop-down:
Users have the ability to export their table results via the export button, allowing them to work with the report offline.
Chart View
Users can customize their chart view using the settings icon above the chart. Clicking the Chart Type icon will display a drop-down list of different chart types, as shown in the image below.
Pivot View
Data can be displayed in a pivot view by selecting the button highlighted below. The user can pivot up to three dimensions to see the data grouped in different ways.
To personalize the pivot columns, click on the settings gear within the pivot view. The pivot data can also be viewed in a full screen or downloaded to use offline.
