Summary
The purpose of this article is to explain how our customers can request additional carrier accounts to be added to the Intelligent Logistics reporting tool. Upon initial setup of the Intelligent Logistics reporting tool, we include only the carrier accounts that were initially requested by the customer and provided to us by the UPS customer rep. After the Intelligent Logistics data is turned live, we frequently receive requests to add additional carrier accounts and CPP's to the visibility and carrier billing data feed.
This article describes the steps that our customers should take so that additional carrier accounts and CPP's can be added to the visibility and carrier billing data feeds.
Overview
To view the accounts currently being picked up by the carrier billed feed, utilize the Carrier Billing Plan filter, which can be found in many of the various billing applications. In the example below, we are using the Invoice Charge Summary application.
Click on the Carrier Billing Plan filter, and click "Go" to see a the list of current billing accounts.
Please note: there must be data for an account in order for it to display in Intelligent Logistics. Even if an account is implemented, if there is no invoice data to show, it will not be reflected in Intelligent Logistics until that occurs.
Solution
To add accounts, contact your UPS Solutions Engagement Resource (SER) via email and explain that you would like to add additional billing accounts to the Intelligent Logistics feed setup. Include il-customersuccess@contax.com in this email. Your UPS SER is the UPS team member that helped coordinate initial training sessions that were conducted by your CONTAX Customer Success Manager.
If you are having difficulty remembering who your UPS SER is, you can email il-customersuccess@contax.com for assistance.
The UPS SER will then work with the UPS Single Point of Contact assigned to your account to submit this request and get the additional accounts added to the Intelligent Logistics reporting tool.
