Summary
Brokerage documents such as a commercial invoice is a required document for the export and import clearance process used by customs officials to determine duties and taxes. These are important reference documents for organizations to access, often months after a shipment's delivery, and the Intelligent Logistics tool allows users to access these forms through the lifecycle of your subscription.
This article will demonstrate how to obtain brokerage documents using the Document Scans List List application.
Please note the following:

Download Limit = 50 MB of data. (Dependent on the size of the files) An error will appear if the download limit is exceeded.

If there are duplicate documents assigned to multiple tracking numbers, those repeated files will not be downloaded more than once.
Accessing the Application
The Document Scans List application can be found within the Intelligent Logistics App Finder. Follow these steps to add the application to your home screen.
- Click on the User Menu icon located in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Click on App Finder.
3. Scroll to the Data Export section of the App Finder and locate the Document Scans List.
HINT: Use CTRL + F and search for the word "document" to quickly locate the app.
4. Click on the Pushpin icon and select the option "My Home." Then click Close.
5. Navigate to the home screen.
The application will now be available at the top of your home screen:
HINT: Click and drag the app to move it to new location on the home screen if desired.
Application Filters
Click on the Document Scans List application and note the default filters shown below:
- File Name - the name of the file as designated by the carrier
- File Received Date - the date the file was transmitted to Intelligent Logistics by the carrier.
- Tracking Number - the tracking number of the shipment associated with the document.
Click Adapt Filters to view or add more filter options in which to narrow your search criteria.
Downloading Documents
- Set the application filters as desired, and click the blue GO button.
In the example below, we are searching for a list of documents transmitted to Intelligent Logistics"This Week."
2. Select the documents you would like to download, and click Export.
Confirm your intention by clicking OK.
If an error message is displayed, recall the file size limit mentioned at the beginning of this article and adjust your selection to reduce the volume of data.

Upon successful download, the user will receive a notification indicating the associated documents are being sent via email.
This email will be sent by no-reply@intelligent-logistics.io, and a link will be displayed that the user can click on to access the brokerage documents.
Please note, the link within the email export is valid for 72 hours.
Available documents for the selected shipments will download to a .zip file.
