Users can set up notifications to receive an automatic email alert for specific tracking numbers using Intelligent Logistics. These alerts will notify the user when the tracking unit has reached a specific status.
Setting Up Notifications
To get started, click on the Tracking Unit List application.
Enter the tracking number within the Tracking Number filter. Click Go to load the data, and then click on the tracking number displayed within the list as shown below:
A pop-up window will be displayed, showing more details about the tracking unit. Click on the bell icon at the bottom right corner of the pop-up window:
A drop-down will be displayed where the user can select the status(es) they want to receive a notification for.
Click on the desired status(es), enter the email address the notifications should be sent to, and then click Save. In the example below, a notification will be sent when the tracking unit achieves the Transit Status = Delivered.
After clicking Save, a confirmation will be displayed:
Once a notification has been saved, that will be displayed on the pop-up window shown when clicking on a tracking unit. In the example below, you will notice the bell icon is now orange, indicating an alert has been set:
Canceling Notifications
Notifications can be adjusted, in the event the user wants to cancel the saved settings. To cancel a notification, go to the Intelligent Logistics home page and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click on Manage Notifications:
Enter the tracking number within the Tracking Number filter and click Go to load the data.
Click on the box next to the desired tracking number, and then click Deactivate (shown on the right side of the screen).
