Summary
Intelligent Logistics allows users to create custom reports within the applications called 'Views' from which they can repeatedly work off of without having to save their settings again. Users can also share those views by making them 'Public' for all other users within the customers tenant to utilize as well.
**Note: If you do not have the Save Public Views feature activated please contact your Customer Success Specialist to have this done**
How to Save a Public View
If you are looking for how to access a saved public view, scroll down to the How to Access a Saved Public View section.
In this example, we will create a report showing packages that were delivered the previous week. Once we have adjusted the filters and table settings to give us our desired report, select the drop down arrow next to 'Standard'. Note the asterisk next to Standard, this indicates that something has been altered from the previous report that you were working on.
You will want to select 'Save As' from this dropdown.
You will be brought to a pop-up prompting you to name and save the view. There will also be a box option for 'Public.' Select this option and click 'Save' to make your view Public for all other users to access.
Solution: How to Access a Saved Public View
Once a user has saved a Public View in the customer's tenant, all other users in that tenant will be able to access and work off that Public View. To do so, enter the application in which the user saved the Public View. From the standard view of that application, select the drop-down arrow next to 'Standard'.
This will bring a drop down of all the views you have favorited to have repeated access to, including private and public views. To access a saved Public View from another user, select 'Manage'.
This will bring you to a pop-up of all available public and private views that you can work off of. The star on the left side indicates whether or not the view is favorited, meaning it will show in your views drop-down. If the star is filled blue the view is favorited, if it is filled white it is not. Select on the star for the desired view you would like to favorite/unfavorite and select OK.
Once you have set your favorite views you will then be able to view and work off of them in the views drop-down.
