The Transit Time Period Analysis application is a new application as of the May 1st, 2021 release. This analytic list application will allow users to get an idea of the amount of time (in days) their packages are in transit with each carrier, which helps them to set expectations, and plan ahead for their business. Additionally, this information helps users get an understanding of their typical transit times with each service, and identify when any abnormalities happen.
Transit time is calculated starting with the In Carrier Possession Date and ending with the Delivery Date.
Users have the ability to to adapt their filters for their search and use the settings icon to customize their table. This application however has the ability for users to see pre-set time periods for all of their different carrier services. The results that users see within the table will reflect days, not hours.
There are a number of different time period selections to view the data in, including by weekdays, months or initial attempts. Selecting into a new preset time period will adjust the results accordingly. Users will now see that their data for each carrier service reflects this change.
Within the options of different time periods is the Initial Attempt Calendar Days (30 Days) option, which will provide information that reflects closer to on-time performance of carrier services, eliminating instances where a package was in carrier possession longer than normal due to a refused package, recipient unavailable, etc.
Users can adjust the results that populate the table by clicking into the settings icon. Users will see they have the ability to remove select time periods from their results, be it a specific day, week, or month. Users are also able to adjust all other table list settings here as well.
Users have the ability to export their table results via the export button, allowing them to work with the report offline.
