The In Carrier Possession Trend shows users carrier specific tracking information with a combination of visual filters, charts and tables for users to discern meaningful information on carrier pick-up trends over time. The In Carrier Possession Trend application will highlight to users the differences in pick-up trends for their various carriers, services and accounts so that users can adapt their behaviors to the most optimal way. Insights gained will help users determine where their shipping efforts should be more concentrated or if they need to change their shipping methods to a more effective method.
Navigate to In Carrier Possession Trend under Visibility. If it is not on your home screen, you can find it in the App Finder.
The filters are interactive and can be adjusted and customized using the 'adapt filters' button. Clicking on the visual filters will filter the chart and table data automatically. Clicking on a data point will filter the chart and tables automatically.
The chart is interactive as well and can be adjusted or changed with the 'settings' button. Users can also select from three different views: Chart + Table, Chart Only, or Table Only. Clicking on a data point in the chart will filter the table automatically.
The table view can be adjusted based on the information the user is looking for. Detail view provides pick-up information based on various time frames. Clicking on a data point within the table will take you to the Tracking Unit List application where you will be able to see a more detailed break-down of deliveries by tracking number. Users can export the table data to excel via the 'Export to Spreadsheet' button, as well as email a copy of the report.
Users can also select Pivot View to aggregate the data in different ways. In the example below, we've selected the filters Carrier Service and Billed Account to see the totals for each. Clicking the arrow next to each Carrier Service will display the totals for each Billed Account using that service.
Users can save any changes made to filters, charts and table settings as a custom view with the drop-down arrow next to 'Standard'. This allows users to return to this view at a later time with the same settings already populated.
