The Invoice Commodity Detail application is available in Intelligent Logistics for customers to analyze their UPS Parcel customs data as of the June 2025 release.
Quickly extract commodity data including Harmonized Tariff Code, Declared Value and Duty, Customs Entry Numbers, Importer - Exporter details, and corresponding invoice data.

✅ How to Access the Application
The Invoice Commodity Detail will not appear on the home screen by default. To pin the application to the home screen, follow the steps below.
Step-by-step:
Click on the User Menu in the upper right corner of the screen.
Click App Finder.
Locate the Invoice Commodity Detail application.
TIP: Use CTRL+F to search by application name.
Click on the
icon
Select the grouping that you would like to add the application to.
Choosing My Home will pin the application tile to the top of the home screen.
- Navigate to the home screen and click on the application.

Chart Menu Options
Options 1-4: Functionality
Download - export chart to a PNG or Excel file, depending on the chart type.
Settings - access or change chart settings to display different visuals.
Chart Style - change the style of chart displayed, i.e. Pie Chart, Line Chart, Bar Chart.
Full Screen - need more room to work? View the chart in a full screen.
Options 5-8: Chart Type
Standard - default visual version of the chart. Click on the various chart elements to isolate this data in the detail view below.
Aggregate - chart dimensions are nested into an easily exportable format.
Flattened - chart dimensions (max of 2) are displayed in a spreadsheet format.
Map - see trends based on global location. Click on the various chart locations to isolate this data in the detail view below.
Options 9-11: Screen Layout
Chart & Table - shows the chart in the middle of the screen and the detail / table data beneath.
Chart View - shows only the chart.
Table View - shows only the detail / table data.
Pivot View
Instantly see a summary of data in an interactive and easily exportable format.
Pivot Menu Options
- Pivot Dimensions - organize your data by selecting up to 3 metrics in which you'd like to see a summary.
- Go - display the pivot table data.
- Clear - remove the pivot table data.
- Detail View - leave the Pivot menu and view the table data instead.
- Pivot View - indicates the user is currently viewing the Pivot menu.
- Settings - change the columns displayed in the pivot results.
- Full Screen - view the data in a full screen window.
- Aggregate View - nests the pivot table in multiple rows (default).
- Flattened View - displays the pivot table in a spreadsheet format.
- Show Data as a % of Line Total - can enable or disable.
- Expand or Collapse all rows
- Export or Schedule via Email
Notes & Tips
Select the report columns most relevant to your team and save a custom view for future queries.
Schedule the report to be sent to your compliance team on a monthly basis - filter the data by Invoice Date = Last Month, and select "Start of Month" in the report schedule frequency.
