The Manage Locations feature in Intelligent Logistics allows customers to define specific delivery locations—such as warehouses, stores, or distribution centers—within the platform. Once set up, these locations can be used to track package volume, monitor delivery performance, and ensure shipments are arriving within their designated delivery windows. This visibility enhances shipping operations by helping organizations stay aligned with key metrics available in tracking applications and the Scheduled Delivery by Location tile.

Solution
The following steps will guide you through the full implementation process of creating locations in Intelligent Logistics. We’ll start with the Manage Locations application to set up your key delivery zones.
Step 1: Create and Configure a Location
- Go to the Manage Location application under the management tiles
- Click Create and enter the information related to the specific location center
Key information to input:
- Name of Location
Enter the name of the location you’re creating. - Select Location Type
Choose from the following options: Store, Distribution Center, Mail Room, Service Room, Dropshipping Facility, or Third-Party Logistics Provider. - Address
Enter the full address of the location. - Postal Code
Enter the exact 5-digit postal code for the location. This must match the "Ship To" postal code on Tracking Units to ensure shipments are properly included in the shipping volume for this location. - Geofence Radius
This can be left at the default of 50 meters or of the user's preference. - Latitude and Longitude
These fields will automatically populate based on the address. No manual edits are required.
Click Create to save the location
Step 2: Review and Customize Location Details
Once the location has been created, it will appear in your locations table.
From here, click the row the location is in to open its detail view in a pop-up window.
In this view, you can customize key settings specific to the location under the Service Level Agreement section. This includes:
Delivery Window: Define the expected delivery timeframe for this location with the delivery start time and delivery end time. This time is specifically related to the delivery time zone of that location.
Delivery Cap: Set a maximum number of deliveries allowed per day.
Note: The General section will already be populated from Step 1 and typically does not need to be changed.
Next, navigate to the Carrier Account Association Section (under Service Level Agreement).
Here, link shipper accounts to this location using either the account number or name by clicking Add on the tool bar.
This association is based on the shipper account being tied to the exact ZIP code specified during location creation.
Click Save
Step 3: Monitor Activity in the Scheduled Delivery by Location Application
Once your locations are configured, go to the Scheduled Delivery by Location application to monitor inbound deliveries. Once in the application, click the blue "GO" button on the filter bar to load data.
This tool provides a daily breakdown of how many packages are scheduled for delivery to each location you've set up. You can filter by the Location, Delivery Window Type, or Delivery Cap.
Key features include:
Daily Package Counts: See how many packages are scheduled for delivery by date and location.
Delivery Cap Alerts: If the number of scheduled deliveries exceeds the set delivery cap for a location, the system will flag the day in red for quick visibility.
Delivery Window Visibility: View the expected delivery window for each location to ensure packages are arriving within the designated timeframe
This view helps organizations better plan labor, anticipate busy days, and optimize receiving operations based on real-time data.
